Supposedly the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur. Remnants of a 12th century castle
built in tribute. Spectacular coast. Merlin’s Cave. Allow 2.5. Depart Visitor Centre by 14:30.
• Port Isaac (0:22). Seaside village, 1.0.
• Rick Stein’s Café at Padstow is about 30 mins drive. 1.0. Maybe just tea.
• Land’s End (1.25). Aim to arrive by 19:00. Sennen Cove, First & Last Inn - 17th century
smuggler history. Various cliff-top walk trails with great views.
