A morning trip with our new driver Pedro took us to Guimares, it's Castle and the pretty town surrounding it. On return to Porto we visted the library on which some of Harry Potter's scenes were modelled. General free time was then spent strolling the hilly old town and once again finding our way to the Duoro river area. A final stop was at the train station where we first experienced the mosaic tile-work that is common in public buiidlings in Prtugal.
