Having flown over New Year (Perth 11PM 31st, Sydney 6AM 1st), Don & Cris and I picked up a hire car and drove toward the Southern Highlands area south of Woolonong via the Macquaire Pass. A visit to the Illawarra Tree Tops was intersting in mist, so we missed the view down off the ranges. We then met Michale and Aaron who'd driven up from Melbourne via Wagga Wagga overnight stop before visiting the Bradman Museum and a couple of wineries. Overnight stop was in Mittagong.
