Transit of the Sun by Mercury was not visible from Australia, so I signed up to try the Slooh Telescope online service to look at the event, the next being in 2032.
Imaged in Leeming. Captured with BackyardEOS 5X Planetary mode - 1000 frames @ ISO200 at 1/125 sec. Post Processed with Registax 6 to stack best 10% (100) frames without Wavelet processing. Further processed with Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 Telescope - SkyWatcher ED80 80/600 with Lacerta Herschel Wedge inc. ND3 filter, TeleVue 2" 2X PowerMate, Baader Solar Continuum filter, Canon 70D Baader BCF modified DSLR field 64' x 42' , Ambient 27C. EQMOD EQASCOM with Ascom 6 for mount control.
