Having waited since first contact at 13:16 for clouds to clear and only had one glimpse at 13:54 I had to wait another hour before the clouds cleared. This one just after at 14:56. Mid point of the eclipse was missed at 14:42. Not having any lead in time, my focus is not sharp, being done with the eye at the camera. My Orion ST80 (normally guide scope) has a basic single rate manual focuser so focusing was difficult. Telescope - Orion ShortTube 80 f/5 with Thousand Oaks 72mm DSLR Black Polymer solar filter reducing aperture to 65mm f/6.2, Baader BCF modified Canon 70D DSLR field 127' x 191' , Ambient 21-20C. EQMOD EQASCOM with Ascom 6 for mount control. Backyard EOS Pro 3.0.3 for Image acquisition. Mount - Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro. Guidescope - none.

First test of Thousand Oaks solar filter with 8" PowerNewt. Backyard EOS 1X with 70D and at f/8 (F=1600mm) is not quite enough to get much sunspot detail but just fits the sun in frame.
