Imaged at Perth Observatory This was an experiment with a 50mm f/1.8 lens stopped to f/3.5 and I'm quite pleased with the field flatness. The red cast to the top right (actually lower right as imaged) is light pollution. I accidentally turned raw capture off, so this is from JPEG and no darks, flats or bias could be applied. Baader BCF modified Canon 70D DSLR with Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens at f/3.5 lens manual focus, field 25 x 17 deg. Ambient ~14C. Skywatcher Star Adventurer mount on Sidereal tracking rate.
