Imaged at Perth Observatory This was an experiment to see how the Skywatcher Star Tracker would go with a rough polar alignment and my stock 18-200mm at full 200mm and f/5.6 aperture. The coma at the edges is quite evident, so would need stopping down. See also cropped version. Canon 60D DSLR with Canon IS 18-200mm at f/5.6 lens manual focus, unstabilised, field 6 x 4 deg. Imaged at Perth Observatory This was an experiment with a 50mm f/1.8 lens stopped to f/3.5 and I'm quite pleased with the field flatness. I accidentally turned raw capture off, so this is from JPEG and no darks, flats or bias could be applied.
