First night attempting wide field DSLR imaging piggybacked on guided EQ6 mount. Noticeable vignetting without flats and the lack of a light pollution filter shows strong background light. Also standard 18-55mm lens shows significant non-flatness at the edge of field. DeepSkyStacker 3.3.2 Stacked 85% of 24 Images ISO 800 40 Sec, 39 DARK @120sec at 9C, 75 BIAS, 0 FLATS, Post-processed with Adobe Photoshop CS5 Canon 40D DSLR with 18-55mm in manual focus, Ambient 11C. EQMOD EQASCOM with Ascom 6 for mount control. Backyard EOS 2.09 for Image acquisition. Mount - Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro. Guidescope - Orion ShortTube 80 with Star Shoot Auto Guider flashed as QHY5 and Stark Labs PHD auto guiding software.
