Messier 42 - NGC1976 - Orion Nebula - 25/11/2012 (Processed h-Alpha stack)
Imaged at Perth Observatory using their remote access equipment.
Early experimenting with a CCD camera. H-Alpha stack with calibration applied.
3 of 10 x H-Alpha LIGHT at 60 sec and -5C stacked in DeepSkyStacker and post processed using using Adobe Photoshop CC 2019. High number of discards due to light ingress during exposures.
10 Luminace frames discarded due to severe blooming.

Telescope - Celestron 14" f/11 with Optec ~0.5x Focal Reducer to f/5.4 F=1914mm, SBIG Filter Wheel with Open, B, V, R, IR, SPEC100, Ha and OIII filters, SBIG ST-10 CCD camera 2184x1472 6.8µ pixels with field 26' x 17' , Optec TCF-S Temperature Compensating Focuser with FocusMAX autofocus software, CCD at -5C. Maxim DL for Image acquisition. Mount - Paramount ME. Boltwood Cloud Sensor II. TheSky planetarium software.
