Messier M7 - NGC6475 - Ptolemy's Cluster in Scorpius - 2/10/2013 (Processed cropped stack)
An open cluster of ~80 stars (the bigger brighter ones in the central area) about 1000 Light Years distant from us. It is located in Scorpius, not far from Sagittarius, the central portion of our Milky Way galaxy, the dust lanes and dense star fields seen in the background.
Cropped to reduce vignetting as no Flat frames were used.

Backyard EOS 2.09 for Image acquisition. Mount - Skywatcher NEQ6 Pro. Guidescope - Orion ShortTube 80 with Starlight Xpress Superstar (mono) CCD guide camera and Stark Labs PHD auto guiding software.
