Caldwell 34 NGC6960 Western Veil Nebula - 18/5/2012 (Processed and cropped single image)
Taken at a dark sky site near Wagin, Western Australia.
The western part of a widely spread and difuse supernova remnant about 1470 LY away in the constellation Cygnus.
Single test shot to locate the object and I was surprised to pick it up in the 80mm APO. Processing has pushed this image beyond bearable limits to do so. It looks like this will be worth a stack attempt in dark skies.
