2022 Remote Control
2021 Experimentation lead me to a direction of city living and remotely hosting my telescope. I persued greater automation and remote control that with a little more work should prove operable to get started.
Unless stated otherwise, images are from my home location in Leeming, 15 Km south of the centre of Perth, Western Australia. Leeming has SQM 19.00 Bortle 6 skies.
My favourite shots can also be found on AstroBin http://www.astrobin.com/users/scottastrophe
Gum31 IC2599 Galactic Nebula and NGC3293 The Little Jewel Box - 6/3/2022 (Processed stack)
Imaged at Perth Observatory, semi-dark sky site, using 'Nebula Booster' filter. Not quite focused, and slight collimation error (double spikes) and some occasional wind gusts made the stars less sharp than ideal.
